SACRAMENTO – State Senator Brian W. Jones (R-Santee), along with many other officials and luminaries, held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new “Terminal 1” this morning at the San Diego International Airport.
“The new Terminal 1 will be a great addition to our region’s airport,” said Senator Jones. “We’ll see better traffic access in and out of the airport as well as more gates for improved passenger boarding and cargo loading.”
The Terminal 1 project has been in the works for decades and is estimated to be completed in two phases, the first by 2025 and the second by 2027. For more information on the Terminal 1 project please visit: https://www.san.org/Airport-ADP
